In 2007, the Haas Finance Club launched theannual Berkeley Finance Conference. The theme for the 2008conference, held in November, was "Navigating Through FinancialTurbulence.” The popular event featured top financial industry executives andacademics, as well as students from the Haas MBA Program.

　　伯克利金融会议由哈斯财经俱乐部于2007年发起。参加该会议的有金融业内的高管、学校大学老师及哈斯商学院MBA学生。

　　The Berkeley Finance Cluborganizes activities to assist members in evaluating careers in finance andidentifying current career opportunities, extend the practical financeeducation with job-specific knowledge and connect members with alumni and otherfinance professionals. Some of the club's more popular events include the FirmNight in the fall, a recruiting trip to Wall Street, Friday visits to localfinance firms, happy hour gatherings with alumni, information sessions aboutcareers/companies, interview preparation sessions and educational sessions on jobfunctions.

　　The mission of tBerkeleyMBA Investment Club is to provide students with a platform and resources todevelop and strengthen their interest in investments and financial analysis;Tohelp students conduct job searches in the investment management industry;Tofoster the relationship between the Haas School of Business and investmentmanagers, particularly those in the U.S. West Coast area;To strengthen the HaasSchool of Business' reputation in the investment industry;To broaden awarenessof investing within the Haas School of Business and UC Berkeley communitythrough speakers, presentations, and conferences.
