加拿大 PhD positions at the University of Alberta

　　Openings in Nanophotonics, Nanomaterials, and Photovltaics

　　Ph.D. Student

　　We are recruiting 2-3 highly motivated students to pursue Ph.D. in the areas of nanophotonics, nanomaterials, and photovoltaics, starting from Fall 2013. Our interdisciplinary research projects require students having strong background in one of the following areas: synthesis of nanomaterials (preference in colloidal quantum dots), nanophotonics (simulation and nanofabrication), optical and electrical characterization of optoelectronic devices. Students with various backgrounds in electrical engineering, physics and materials science are strongly encouraged to apply for the Ph.D. program in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta. TA and RA positions will be provided.

　　We welcome visiting graduate students or visiting scholars from a variety of backgrounds in nanophotonics, nanomaterials and photovoltaics to join our research group. We encourage you to contact us as well as apply to funding organizations for support.
