　　The 3D Graphics and Vision Group of SCIS at FIU (Miami, Florida, USA) is seeking two highly qualified PhD applicants. The research interests include computational conformal geometry, discrete differential geometry, discrete Ricci flow, and their applications to surface matching, registration, tracking, recognition, and shape analysis. The research areas span over medical imaging, computer vision, computer graphics and visualization, wireless sensor network, geometric modeling and computational topology.

　　Qualified candidates will be offered teaching/research assistantship (TA/RA) positions that include tuition waiver plus a highly competitive 12-month stipend ($23,460/yr). In addition, outstanding incoming Ph.D. students will have a high chance to get the Presidential Fellowships (PF) and Presidential Enhancement Fellowships (PEF).
