我的面签经过：背景资料和VO心理分析

　　VO需要的资料大部分都在DS表里，所以我先说明我填了些什么。和大多数同学一样，以前无出国、违法犯罪经历。我来自农村家庭，父母在家务农，家里还有个弟弟，这些我都没有隐瞒。本科毕业于211大学，专业临床医学，研究生北医，专业外科学，无任何工作经历。出去做基础方面的研究，获得全奖，TA形式提供。其实是从临床转行到了基础。在do you intend to work in US 一栏中，我填写了TA。在“do you have any speCIAlized training or skills”中我写了yes，打算回答的是受过外科学方面的训练。其余的没有什么特殊的。

　　以下蓝色部分是我对VO的心理分析。

　　VO：Good morning.（翻看我的DS表，看到我写了不是独生子女，农村家庭。This guy is honest BECause he did not hid the truth which may have a negative effect on his visa, I can trust him.）

　　Me：Good morning, Miss.

　　VO：So you are going to study biology at xxxx？ 或者：Do you have interest in biology？（没太挺清楚，实话说VO的声音很小，我犯了一个错误，如果没听清楚一定要问清问题再回答，否则答非所问就很不好了。不过幸好我的回答对于上面两个问题都适用。）（Is he familiar with his subject？）

　　Me：Yes, I have GREat interest in biology, espeCIAlly in developmental biology, and most probably, I will study retinal regeneration at University of xxx. We will use salamander as the animal Model, and salamander is a kind of amphibian, it is similar to the lizards, has a long tail and four limbs. Salamander has a strong ability of regeneration and that’s why we choose it as the animal Model. If you cut one of its limbs, it will regenerate a identical one in about 2 months.

　　VO：（He knows the detail of his research, so I can conclude that he is intend to study at American rather than immigrant to US）

　　Me：And we use gene chip technology to analysis the differential gene expression…

　　VO：gene chip technology？（Gene chip technology？ Is it a kind of sensitive major？）

　　Me：（楞了一下，没有反应过来）

　　VO：You mean gene chip technology？

　　Me：（终于反应过来了） Yes.（忽然意识到可能涉及到敏感专业，是否会check呢？）

　　VO：（Yes, he is honest, he did not hid anything. So I determine not to check him in order to save my time.）不再说话，低头撕绿单给我，而我还傻傻地等着她告诉我要check。但是她说：It OK now。

　　Me：Thank you.
