　　如果单说permit和allow这两个词，用法很接近，permit/allow sb. to do sth. Permit/allow doing sth.

　　Permit也可以作名词，意为许可证，

　　但是allow for 是完全不同的意思, 是考虑到，体谅某人的意思。一般接名词和名词词组。

　　例: We should allow for every possible delay.
