       顿涅茨克国立大学全称顿涅茨克国立大学Donetsk National University也有人叫,成立于1937，是一所规模巨大（30000人以上）的公立研究型综合大学

　　Founded in 1937 Donetsk National University (DonNU) has become one of the leading educational and scientific complexes in the East of Ukraine with the highest IV level of accreditation.　　It is classical university providing training of future specialists in natural-scientific, humanitarian and economic spheres of knowledge. It offers undergraduate programs leading to bachelor’s degrees as well as graduate education leading to master’s degrees in 53 specialties. Postgraduate Studies department provides training of scientists in 63 specialties.　　Through its 76-years history DonNU has produced more than 120 high-profile specialists including 2500 foreign citizens in different fields of science. Today more than 18 thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students have been studying in DonNU including 300 students from foreign countries.　　DonNU is part of Donetsk Scientific Centre within the structure of National Academy of Ukraine. Scientific research has been conducted in 11 major fundamental and applied fields of science through involvement of teachers and students into different research programs.　　Its educational policy is based on combination of best traditions and modern principles, standards and practices of higher education.　　DonNU comprises　　Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology, Faculty of Physics, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of History, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Law; Educational and Research Institute “Economic Cybernetics”; International Faculty.　　76 Departments;　　Numerous scientific centers: Centre of Foreign Language studies, Institution of History of Donbas region, Youth Centre of Scientific Research, Centre of International and European Law, Specialized Development Laboratory “Turbulence”, Research and Educational Centre “Convergence of Nano-, Bio- and Info- Technologies for Balanced Regional Development”, Research Department “Physics of Magnetic Phenomena and High-Temperature Conductivity”, International Security and Euro-Atlantic Cooperation Research Centre, UNESCO Department “Ecology of Industrial Region”.　　Our University is an essential contributor to the socio-economic, scientific and cultural life of the country, providing excellence in education, participating in the advancement of knowledge through research, and serving the people of Ukraine and beyond.
