The Protestant University of Freiburg ( Freiburg EH ) , School of Social Work , diakonia and Religious Education is a confessional , nationally recognized professional school based in Freiburg im Breisgau. Support the university is the Evangelical Church in Baden . The core courses offered by the EH Freiburg form the bachelor's degree programs social work , religious education / community diakonia, and pedagogy of childhood. The university was able to expand in recent years, its academic offerings with new masters courses and training in the field . The largest research institution in the field of social work ( research and innovation network in EH Freiburg FIVE ) in Germany is located at the EH Freiburg. In several institutions will , inter alia, worked on issues of gerontology, social science research on women , development of civil society and of child and youth research. In exchange with FIVE, the Institute for Continuing Education ( Kiel Institute ) and the Academy for social housing connects the EH Freiburg research and training ( eg in palliative care and case management) .

弗莱堡新教学院位于德国巴登-符腾堡地区弗莱堡市。属于温带大陆性气候, 主要分布于亚欧大陆和北美大陆的内陆地区。
终年受大陆气团控制，干旱少雨。冬季严寒，夏季炎热，气温年变化很大。
冬季在大陆性气候控制下，最冷月的平均气温，南部为0℃以下，北部接近-40℃。最热月的平均气温，南部26--27℃，北部接近20℃。生长季南部约200天，北部仅50-70天。属于这一气候区的有：中国东北、西伯利亚大部分、阿拉斯加与加拿大大部分以及美国五大湖附近。 学校地处城市。
