“英国不承认托福成绩”后，2014年5月30日，ETS发布公告，2014年4月17日取得的托福ibt成绩仍然可用于申请英国大学，但是必须满足以下条件。

Using TOEFL® Scores to Apply to U.K. Universities

　　In April 2014, ETS made the decision not to extend its Secure English-language Testing (SELT) license with the Home Office. As a result, the TOEFL iBT® test is not on the Home Office’s list of recognized providers as of April 17.

　　However, scores from TOEFL iBT tests after April 17, 2014 can still be used to apply for a Tier 4 student visa to study within the U.K. if the following conditions are met:

• 　　Your chosen U.K. university accepts the TOEFL iBT test for admission purposes. We suggest you contact the university you wish to apply to directly by phoning or emailing the admissions department.

• 　　Your course of study will be at degree level or higher. TOEFL iBT tests taken on or after April 17, 2014 cannot be used to apply for a Tier 4 student visa for studies below degree level. For example, the test cannot be used to enter pre-sessional English courses, or preliminary, HND or foundation programs.

• 　　You meet the TOEFL iBT score requirement for university entry and your course of study. Please check the university website for TOEFL iBT score requirements as you may find each university has different requirements for the course that you intend to apply for.

• 　　You meet the TOEFL iBT scores at B2 level set by the Home Office for immigration. TOEFL iBT scores at the B2 level approved by the Home Office are:

　　Total: 72

　　Reading: 18

　　Listening: 17

　　Writing: 17

　　Speaking: 20

　　A growing number of universities in the U.K. accept TOEFL® scores on this basis. Please check with your chosen university directly for the most current information.
